Humanity
We begin with people and draw inspiration from those around us.
About / The origin
A name rooted in humanity. A world shaped by nature, culture and the singular lives we lead.

01 / The naming of Nara
Nara is derived from the Sanskrit word Nara (नर), meaning human or mankind.
In ancient Indian philosophy, the word extends beyond a simple definition. It reflects the human spirit in its entirety—our existence, contradictions, ambitions, imperfections, and the countless experiences that shape who we become.
While mankind shares a common origin, no two lives unfold alike. Every person carries a perspective entirely their own, shaped by time, memory, and experience.
Core ethos
“One of one. No two stones are alike. No two lives unfold the same way.”
02 / What shapes us
We begin with people and draw inspiration from those around us.
Variation, imperfection and character are embraced, never corrected.
The deepest connections are found when least expected.
What we choose to wear often says what words cannot.
03 / Our point of view
Positioned at the intersection of culture, design and contemporary jewellery.
Nara values knowledge over noise, originality over imitation, and substance over spectacle. Confident enough to challenge convention and composed enough to know when tradition carries greater impact.
